FIBERSPAR MANUFACTURING

Fiberspar products are manufactured completely in-house under an API Q1, and ISO 9001 quality system. Fiberspar has industry-leading lead times for fast delivery, lower cost, and added flexibility to meet customer requirements.

A state-of-the-art fully integrated extrusion line produces thermoplastic liners used in the manufacture of composite, spoolable pipe. Inline, real-time, ID/OD and wall thickness measurements are made during the extrusion process. The extrusion line uses precision,
state-of-the-art die technology and the latest in vacuum sizing.

The thermoplastic liner is reinforced with glass fibers which are orbitally wound, and embedded in a thermoset matrix material. Each fiber and epoxy layer is laid over the pressure barrier to precise geometry in a controlled environment, and the pipe is cured in a continuous oven.

The manufacturing lines are capable of producing pipe sizes ranging from 2 ½" to 6 ½" nominal pipe sizes in continuous lengths up to 2 miles long.
